Do you have experience overseeing attendance at a school level? We are looking to appoint two Attendance Officers to join our dedicated academy team at Harris Academy Clapham.

The actual salary for this role will be £28,887.99 - £30,623.34 (38 weeks per year, 37.5 hours per week).
We would like to hear from you if you have:
Qualifications to degree standard or equivalentSound Knowledge of Microsoft softwareKnowledge of Management Information Systems for input and export of student attendance data, including training in relation to attendance and report generationKnowledge of attendance policies and proceduresKnowledge of the range of agencies that work with students and their familiesBasic knowledge of first aid; e.g. emergency first aid courseKnowledge of a range of attendance codes and when they can be usedKnowledge of many of the social issues facing students from disadvantaged backgroundsThree years' experience of working in an inner-city school or educational establishmentExperience of working with Academy welfare officerExperience of meeting with parents/carers formally and informallyExperience of managing attendance systemsExperience in a similar roleExperience of working with young people, including those with challenging behaviourFor a full job description and person specification, please download the Job Pack.
