Qualifications and Training:
Qualified Teacher Status.Degree
Experience:
Successful senior leadership and management experience in a secondary school.Teaching experienceInvolvement in school self-evaluation and development planning, with evidence of improving provision, outcomes, student experience or progression.Demonstrable experience of successful line management and staff development
Skills and Knowledge:
Strong understanding of curriculum design, implementation and evaluation, including the ability to support subject leaders to develop ambitious, well-sequenced provision.Understanding of high-quality teaching, and the ability to model this for others and support others to improveStrong knowledge of personal development, PSHE, careers education, enrichment, student leadership and preparation for adulthood.Understanding of post-16 pathways, including academic, vocational and foundation routes, and the ability to develop provision in partnership with other schools and Trust leaders.Understanding of school finances and financial managementEffective communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to communicate a vision and inspire othersAbility to build effective working relationships
