Responsibilities for the role:
Provide embedded in-class support to help learners engage and remain in learningSupport learners to regulate emotions and behaviours using practical, trauma-informed approachesUse de-escalation and restorative practice to reduce incidents and support reintegrationContribute to behaviour risk assessments and behaviour support plansSupport learners during transitions, including into main campus learning spaces and off-site activityRecord incidents, interventions and outcomes accurately and escalate safeguarding concerns promptly
