About the Department
Join a energetic peripatetic team delivering tuition to over 60 students across the school. Music plays a central role in our school community, supported by a busy schedule of large concerts, showcase recitals, and full-scale annual musical productions. You will be instrumental in developing both soloist performance and ensemble accompaniment skills.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver structured, high-quality individual piano and keyboard lessons across key stages (Ages 11-18). Prepare students for graded practical exams (Trinity, Rock-school and GCSE) and public performances. Accompany students in concerts, grade exams, or school musical rehearsals where required. Requirements
Proven experience teaching piano to secondary-aged students across varying skill levels. (desirable) Strong sight-reading and keyboard accompaniment skills. Ability to teach diverse musical genres and adapt to student interests. Degree in Music/Piano Performance, Grade 8 or equivalent professional qualifications.
