About this role
We are looking to appoint committed and enthusiastic Exam Invigilators to support our main cohort of students and students with access arrangements (e.g. reader/scribe), for both internal and external examinations.
As a large 11-18 school with a busy calendar of examinations, we are looking for confident, flexible and reliable Invigilators to work in a variety of exam settings, from whole-year exams to small groups and one-to-one exams.
There is a high level of contact with students in this role and a good rapport with young people is essential. You will have a key role in upholding the integrity and security of the examination/assessment process and will conduct examinations in accordance with the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ), awarding body and Centre.
No previous experience is necessary and full training will be provided.
HOURS:
Hours will vary based on school needs and Invigilators’ availability.
The busiest exam periods are January, March, April-June and November. Invigilators need to work every three months at the very least, in line with the school’s Safer Recruitment policy. Please see Job Description for more specific duty time details. Invigilation duty time can sit outside our normal school day.
SALARY:
Exam Invigilators (General) £15.20 per hour (including holiday pay) equivalent to £25614.00
Exam Invigilators (Access Arrangements) £15.44 per hour (including holiday pay) equivalent to £26016.00
