About the Role
Cleaning Duties
Clean classrooms, shared areas, and other designated spaces to a high standard, ensuring they are well-maintained and conducive to learningEnsure all cleaning and site equipment is kept in a safe and working conditionReplenish consumables (e.g., soap, paper towels) as neededTeamwork and Flexibility
Work collaboratively with the site team and other staff to ensure the school is clean and presentable at all timesDemonstrate a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the changing needs of the schoolSafeguarding
Maintain a good understanding of the school's safeguarding policies and proceduresReport any concerns or issues related to the safety and wellbeing of pupils to the designated safeguarding lead (DSL)Contribute to the overall safeguarding of all pupils in the schoolSkills and Competencies
Ability to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanlinessFlexibility and adaptability to respond to the changing needs of the schoolGood communication skills and the ability to interact positively with pupils, staff, and visitorsUnderstanding of and commitment to the school's vision of being highly inclusive and supporting children with complex special needsProfessional Development
