Descripción: Industrial Liaison Scientist Qualifications / Experience: You hold a PhD in engineering or a natural science (or equivalent qualification) and have several years of experience in a range of analytical techniques, preferably using neutrons. You have excellent communication skills, are highly interested in applied research and have some experience in working with industry / R&D / NDT. You have a strong project management culture, which will enable you to plan and manage the ILL’s involvement in R&D and NDT with industry partners. How to apply: www.ill.eu/careers Wiring technician Qualifications / Experience: You have at least a Level 3 qualification (NVQ, City and Guilds, apprenticeship) in electronics, electrical engineering or a related field. Proficiency in reading and interpreting wiring diagrams. Excellent command of soldering techniques. You must have a meticulous approach to your work and an eye for detail in order to keep defects to an absolute minimum. Mechanical skills for producing small parts would be a plus. Experience of reactor operations in a nuclear environment would be an asset. You are a meticulous and well-organised self-starter with excellent writing skills, and are able to take initiative while complying with regulatory requirements. You are equally comfortable working independently and as part of a team, and have a strong service oriented attitude. Fluency in French is essential; knowledge of English would be a plus.
