£ 29,796 - £34,495.50 per annum dependent on skills and experience

Hybrid working from Care in Minds Head Office in Cheadle Heath, Stockport and Home working.

Main duties of the job

To provide efficient and effective HR Support to managers, employees and the People Services Department within Care in Mind. To be responsible for overseeing the People Assistant/Starter and Leaver Processes/Absence Management/Contractual changes/Payroll submissions to the Finance Department/Company and Departmental Audits and maintenance of HR electronic records.

Job description Job responsibilities

- To conduct and coordinate the onboarding and new starter process ensuring that individuals are processed in a timely manner, pre-employment checks are completed, and employees inputted on the system with correct IT access.

- To conduct and coordinate the leaver process ensuring that all individuals are successfully offboarded from the organisation. Ensuring exit interviews and paperwork are completed and company equipment returned. Ensuring payroll are provided with correct information and IT access disabled appropriately. To support the People Adviser and People Services Manager in reviewing leaver data and analysing trends.

- To take the lead on complex eligibility to work queries and ensuring all existing company documents pertaining to safer recruitment processes are maintained and audited.

- When required, assist the Resourcing and People Assistant with placing adverts and co-ordinating interviews.

- Deal with maternity/paternity/parental leave enquiries issuing appropriate letters/forms.

- To support the Finance Department with the submission of HR information for payroll purposes ensuring information is communicated accurately.

- To support with the Absence Management process by collating absence data. Maintain the absence trigger spreadsheet and ensure that the HR system is updated by managers in relation to letters and follow up. Produce reports as required.

Qualifications Essential

CIPD Level 3 or above Good standard of education

Experience Essential

Previous experience of working in a similar role, co-ordinating processes Experience of working with a HR Information system

Desirable

Previous supervisory experience Previous experience of producing reports and analysing data

A keen eye for detail and exceptional organisational skills Strong IT skills - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Can demonstrate an appreciation of confidentiality and exercise discretion. Ability to work with within a KPI framework. Ability to deal with a wide range of people and establish effective working relationships with staff and managers. Excellent communication skills both oral and written. Flexible, co-operative and a supportive team player. Ability to plan workload and work under pressure. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload.

Have access to a vehicle for work purposes with the ability to travel to the sites within the Care in Mind portfolio An ability to work from home where necessary - Wi-Fi connection, suitable working space.
