We are looking to fill a full-time post at a Local Mental Health Team covering the Ashfield area of Nottinghamshire. Our core business hours are 09:00-17:00 but some flexibility can be offered.
Main duties of the job
Occupational Therapist with excellent communication skills to join our existing dynamic multidisciplinary Local Mental Health Team.
The post-holder will conduct specific assessments, formulation and interventions, working collaboratively with patients, their carers/families and partnership organisations to develop creative, goal oriented, time limited occupational therapy plans.

Job description Job responsibilities
This post is both rewarding and a vital role towards the assessment and delivery of treatment to our patients in the Ashfield area.
To provide a high-quality Occupational Therapy service collaboratively with the patients in their own homes and local environments. Working with an assistant in the provision of intervention plans. If interested see JD/Spec for more details.
Professional and clinical supervision will be provided by an identified Occupational Therapist.
Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment.
You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. An annual fee of £16 per year applies.

Please note that this post does not meet the pay level required for a Skilled worker visa.
Successful applicants with no prior NHS experience would normally be placed at the bottom of the band in line with Agenda for Change. Qualifications Essential
BSc or MSc Occupational Therapy HCPC registered Specialist knowledge/post registration and experience of working in a mental health setting
