Main duties of the job
This is an exciting opportunity to join Locala's Children's Immunisation Team, the lead provider for the West Yorkshire Vacs & Imms Collaboration (WYVIC).
We are seeking dynamic and proactive Band 5 Children's Immunisation Nurses to support the delivery of high-quality childhood immunisation services across Kirklees. This role is ideal for a confident and motivated practitioner who is passionate about improving immunisation uptake and contributing to service development, while consistently maintaining excellent clinical standards.
The Successful Candidate Will
Work closely with the immunisation team to increase local uptake by providing and supporting services to the eligible population.Deliver safe, effective childhood immunisations in line with the National Childhood Immunisation Schedule (0-18 years) within clinic and school settings.Work collaboratively with the wider WYVIC Team.Promote immunisation uptake and provide evidence-based advice to children, young people, and families.Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation in line with policy and governance requirements.Contribute positively to service development and continuous improvement.The post holder will be expected to be able to travel independently across the borough.
