Job summary
Dorset Healthcare is responsible for the provision of Memory Assessment Services (MAS) across the county and nationally it has been recognised that Dementia is an area of health significance with an ever-increasing ageing population.

We regularly participate in research studies and we are working towards accreditation on the Memory Services National Accreditation Programme developed by The Royal College of Psychiatrists.

East Dorset: Band 3 Team Administrator x 2 - 37.5 hours and 30 hours
Main duties of the job
You will be based in the MAS East team at Alderney Hospital, and will be part of an admin team covering Dorset.
These are permanent posts with core working hours of Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:00.

Person Specification
Knowledge, Skills and training Essential
To be numerate / literate To be educated to Vocational level 3 or equivalent. Basic IT skills, normally obtained through practice or practical training (eg RIO).
Job specific experience Essential
Experience of working in an administrative role within an office environment Ability to remain calm under pressure and use own initiative Demonstrates ability to work as part of a team

Demonstrable experience of using word processing, spreadsheet, database and / or presentation software to RSA II / lll or equivalent standard (eg admin / secretarial).
