Main duties of the job The role of a Home Care Assistant at Agincare UK involves supporting people with their daily routines, household tasks, personal care, and providing companionship. You will help with shopping, preparing nutritious meals, making comforting cups of tea, and assisting with medication. The position offers up to £13.75 per hour, with 32p per mile for mileage, and includes benefits such as a £500 welcome bonus, a refer-a-friend scheme, and a Blue Light care discount package. Professional development is strongly supported with fully funded training up to QCF level 5. Applicants dont need prior care experience as training is provided, but they should be kind, compassionate, and passionate about helping others. A full UK driving licence and access to a car are necessary, along with a minimum of 12 months remaining on the right to work in the UK. Flexibility for weekend work is required.
