Main duties of the job The Registered Nurse Band 5 position at Warminster Community Hospital focuses on providing compassionate care within Longleat Ward. As a key part of a multidisciplinary team, the role involves delivering sub-acute, rehabilitation, and end-of-life care to Wiltshire residents. Supported by Consultant Nurses and a Senior Sister advocating Compassionate Leadership, candidates will engage in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care while supervising staff and students. Excellent communication, organization skills, proficiency in IT, and independent and team working abilities are essential. Ideal Candidate: You will be aNMCregistered Nurse, you will have the ability to work both independentlyand alsoas part of a wider multidisciplinary team. It is expected that youshould have strongcommunication and organisation skills and a flexible approach which will ensureyou deliver positive experiences to patients at every stage of theirhealthcare journey.

You will also need to be confident using IT systems and be able to demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel.

Person Specification

Qualifications Essential

NMC registered Nurse with strong communication, organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Ability to work independently as well as in a multidisciplinary team is required.
