Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and motivated individual to join our fast-paced Research & Development team at Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support across a portfolio of research studies and departmental activities, including maintaining research databases and records, coordinating participant recruitment, appointments, meetings and communications, supporting compliance and financial processes, and assisting with the day-to-day operation of the department. The role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail and organisational ability, confidence working with confidential information and databases, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator to contribute to the smooth delivery of NHS research and provide a professional and welcoming service to research participants, staff and visitors.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide efficient administrative support to the Research & Development team, including maintaining research databases and records, coordinating participant referrals, appointments and communications, organising meetings and maintaining documentation. The role will also involve supporting research compliance, producing routine reports, processing financial administration, maintaining equipment and stock records, and providing a professional and welcoming service to research participants, staff and visitors.
