Spire Nottingham Hospital is seeking an experienced Outpatients Team Leader to join our established, supportive and high-performing nursing team on a 12-month fixed term contract. This is a part time role for 30 hours per week
This is a key leadership role within a busy, fast-paced outpatient department, ideal for a nurse who thrives on responsibility, enjoys developing others and has a strong background in outpatient services.

Main duties of the job
Duties and responsibilities:
As Outpatients Team Leader, you will provide visible clinical leadership and operational oversight for nursing services within the outpatient department. Working closely with the Outpatient Manager, you will help ensure the delivery of safe, efficient and high-quality care while supporting the ongoing development of the nursing team.
Lead and support the Outpatient nursing team, promoting a culture of professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement. Assist the Outpatient Manager in coordinating staffing levels and clinic schedules to ensure safe and effective service provision. Mentor, coach, and develop team members, supporting the Outpatient Manager with appraisals, training, and professional growth. Provide clinical support and, where required, deliver direct patient care. Ensure high standards of patient assessment, treatment, and health education. Promote adherence to best practice, policies, and clinical guidelines. Act as a role model, upholding professional standards and patient dignity.
