Our aim is for our Ward to be a centre of excellence. There is on-going investment to ensure our staff have the right skills, values and expertise to provide high quality specialist care for our patients.
Ward A11L is a mixed sex general medical ward with a focus on Respiratory and General Medicine, we deal with complex and acute medical conditions so no two days are the same. We adopt a rehabilitation approach working closely with our therapy teams which helps to promote and maintain mobility and independence for our patients.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, happy, professional individual who takes pride in their work, committed to the teams vision with strong leadership qualities, a strong understanding of Trust Values and passionate about strengthening an existing team.
This role requires an active UK NMC Registration

Knowledge Essential
Ability to demonstrate fundamental nursing knowledge and practice skills Knowledge of the conditions relevant to the speciality

Technical Skills/Competencies Essential
IT skills Demonstrable ability in management of vital signs monitoring and escalation of the deteriorating patient. Non-IV and IV medication administration

Qualification Essential
Evidence of professional and clinical knowledge acquired through training to degree/diploma level leading to Professional registration on the appropriate part of the NMC register i.e. ( Adult / Child / Learning Disability or Mental Health) Evidence of undergraduate education for newly qualified nurses / or post graduate continuing professional development for registered nurses who have post registration experience
