Job description: Are you an experienced engineer or STEM professional who enjoys working collaboratively? We have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Senior Project Engineer in the Machining Group at The University of Sheffield Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre. You will be primarily responsible for the execution of research and developing innovative solutions to manufacturing problems some of which may be in the defence sector. Working as part of a team, you will draw upon your manufacturing experience, researching and trialling new technologies and developing processes which help our customers drive step change improvements in manufacturing performance. Our work is diverse and exciting and can vary from fundamental research, designing concepts, optimising processes to developing demonstrators.
