Georgetown University in Qatar (GU-Q) invites applications for one (1) open-rank core faculty position in International Economics. We welcome applications from candidates in all fields of economics, with a preference for candidates conducting applied and empirically relevant research. This may include, but is not limited to, fields such as international economics, development economics, behavioral economics, labor economics, political economy, and applied microeconomics and macroeconomics. Applicants should demonstrate a strong research profile, evidenced by a substantial record of high-quality research accomplishments or, for more junior candidates, clear evidence of the potential to develop such a record. Candidates should also have an ambitious and active research agenda and a strong record of teaching excellence.
