Your strong observation skills with attention to detail are your greatest strengths. As a Commercial Security Guard, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as security operation centres , call centers, construction sites, parking lots and gatehouses, etc. What's in it for you? Pay Rate: $16.60/hr Permanent Schedule: Thursday and Friday 1000-1400 We will invest in you, covering the costs of continuing education through GardaWorld Academy Career growth opportunities at GardaWorld Uniform provided at no cost Additional Information No free on-site parking available Site is accessible via public transportation Responsibilities for Commercial Security Guard Provide a visible security presence to deter criminal activity Conduct interior patrols using a G-Track device Monitor access control and ensure only authorized individuals enter the site Respond to emergencies including fires, medical incidents, and security breaches Follow all site-specific security procedures and protocols Utilize technology effectively, including tracking systems and reporting tools Qualifications for Commercial Security Guard Be authorized to work in Canada Hold a valid Manitoba security license First aid certification is an asset Strong report writing skills Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus Strong proficiency with technology Ability to stand and walk throughout shift This could be more than a job!
