KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS Perform technical jobs within the locality Perform administration duties within the technical function Identify and mitigate technical risks within the locality Coordinate work performed by on-site contractors within the locality Maintain client and stakeholder relations within the technical function REQUIRED EDUCATION ESSENTIAL EDUCATION NQF level 4 Electrical qualification with compulsory subjects: Mathematics, Science or Industrial Electronics, Electro-technology or equivalent. Trade test certification: Electrical (3-phase) with Wireman's licence (Installation Electrician 3-phase). ESSENTIAL CERTIFICATION Wireman's licence: (Installation Electrician 3-phase). Code B driver's licence with own reliable transport. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE If registered Installation Electrician 3-phase: more than 5 years’ experience DESIRED EXPERIENCE More than 3 years’ of Mediclinic electrical experience REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Maintenance and repair of electrical systems Test equipment and devices Heating and air conditioning systems Fault finding and troubleshooting Electrical regulations and guides Alarm Panels, IT Networks & Communication Systems Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment (e.g. OHS and ISO) Computer literate (Microsoft Office) Knowledge of Planned Maintenance Systems Mentoring of technical team members All applicants will be considered, with the understanding that preference will be given in accordance with the Employment Equity Plan of Mediclinic Southern Africa, as well as internal applicants/employees that meet the minimum requirements.
