Mediclinic Legae | Mabopane, Pretoria | South Africa Closing date: 11/10/2026 Number of positions: 1 Recruiter name: Kelebogile Rennie Letsholo Reference number: 74190 Workplace Type: On-site Permanent Please note if you are an internal employee on a fixed term contract please apply using an external candidate profile and not your employee profile MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB To ensure that all equipment, plant, building, and services always remain functional to their original state in the safest and most cost-effective way KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS Perform Technical jobs within the locality Perform administration duties within the technical function Identify and mitigate technical risks within the locality Coordinate work performed by on-site contractors within the locality Maintain client and stakeholder relations within the technical function REQUIRED EDUCATION ESSENTIAL EDUCATION: Appropriate trade test-certified DESIRED EDUCATION: N/A ESSENTIAL CERTIFICATION: Trade test certificate & valid driver's licence Registered SAQCC-Gas (only applicable to South African air-conditioning artisans) DESIRED CERTIFICATION: N/A REQUIRED EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: More than 8 years of artisan (Fitter, turner, millwright, air-conditioning artisan) experience and multi-skilled DESIRED EXPERIENCE: More than 3 years' Mediclinic experience REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Trade-specific skills and knowledge – proficiency relative to the role Trade-specific policies, procedures, guidelines, and relevant legislature Fault finding and troubleshooting Planned maintenance according to set Mediclinic standards Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment (e.g. OHS and ISO) Computer literate (Microsoft Office) Multi-Skilled (Hospital environment) Mentoring of technical team members All applicants will be considered, with the understanding that preference will be given in accordance with the Employment Equity Plan of Mediclinic Southern Africa, as well as internal applicants/employees that meet the minimum requirements.
