About the role 
 Location Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Reporting Engineering Head The Maintenance lead supports the Engineering function in overseeing the maintenance and repair of equipment, machinery, and facilities. This role helps ensure that all maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities 

• Assist in planning, scheduling, and supervising daily maintenance operations. • Monitor the performance of maintenance staff and provide guidance, training, and support as needed. • Inspect facilities, equipment, and systems to identify maintenance needs and ensure proper functioning. • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers for maintenance services and materials. • Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, equipment inspections, and inventory. • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. • Assist in preparing maintenance budgets and controlling maintenance-related costs. • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance issues and help implement effective solutions. • Recommend improvements to maintenance procedures, equipment reliability, and facility operations.

Qualifications and skills 

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field. • Experience of working in a Manufacturing Plant, minimum of 3 years experience • Knowledge of preventive maintenance systems, building systems, and equipment repair. • Ability to read technical manuals, drawings, and maintenance schedules. • Proficiency in maintenance management software is an advantage. • Understanding of workplace safety standards and regulations.
