Waste Connections has an immediate opening for an Operations Supervisor to join our team in Acworth, GA. Schedule: 5:30am start time averaging approximately 10-11 hours/day. Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays. Benefits: We offer excellent benefits including: medical, dental, vision, flexible spending account, long term & short term disability, life insurance, 401(K). Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assign and supervise work crews operating solid waste collection equipment.
• Monitor progress of daily operations, reassign employees, and make staffing changes as necessary.
• Helps develop, track, and execute safety goals.
• Conducts field inspections and audits of all site personnel to ensure proper work procedures.
• Receives and reviews customer complaints regarding collection programs.
• Oversees a variety of complex compliance programs including environmental, OSHA, and local permitting. Requirements:
• Willing and able to obtain Class A or B CDL.
• Must be able to relocate for promotional opportunities based on performance.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
