Production & Machine Operator, Direct Hire Job DescriptionThis role operates and sets up plastic extrusion machinery to produce high-quality materials according to precise specifications. The Extrusion Machine Operator loads raw plastic rolls using a stand-up forklift, monitors machine performance, performs quality checks, and maintains accurate production records in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment.Available shifts:A Shift (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Every Other Sunday, 6:45AM to 7PM)B Shift (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Every Other Sunday, 6:45PM to 7AM) C Shift (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Every Other Sunday, 6:45AM to 7PM) D Shift (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Every Other Sunday, 6:45PM to 7AM)Responsibilities

• Load rolls of raw plastic material into industrial extrusion machinery using a stand-up forklift. • Assist with machine start-up and shutdown procedures to ensure safe and efficient operations. • Support product changeovers and material changes by following established setup and adjustment guidelines. • Set up plastic extrusion machinery according to production specifications and work instructions. • Monitor machine performance throughout the shift and promptly notify operators of any process or equipment issues. • Make necessary adjustments to extrusion machinery to maintain product quality and production efficiency. • Perform regular quality checks using gauges, calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and visual inspections to confirm products meet specifications. • Read and interpret blueprints and measurement data to ensure accurate setup and output. • Record production data, quality results, and downtime information accurately and in a timely manner. • Troubleshoot basic machine issues and support maintenance activities as directed. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to support safety and product quality. • Follow all safety guidelines and standard operating procedures while operating machinery and material handling equipment. Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Richmond, IN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $52000.00/yr.
