Job Title: Shipping Assistant / Warehouse OperatorJob DescriptionThis role supports efficient shipping and warehouse operations by assisting with picking and packing oil pans, handling materials from manufacturing machines, and preparing orders for shipment. The position involves operating warehouse equipment, including forklifts, and performing general shipping and receiving tasks to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.Responsibilities
• Pick and pack oil pans and related products according to order specifications and shipping documents. • Pull finished products from manufacturing machines and reload materials or components as needed to maintain production flow. • Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling, staging, and organizing items for carrier pickup. • Perform shipping and receiving activities, including checking incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and condition. • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to move, load, and unload materials and products. • Maintain organized warehouse and shipping areas to support efficient material handling and inventory access. • Assist with basic data entry related to shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions. • Follow established manufacturing and warehouse procedures to ensure product quality and operational efficiency. • Adhere to all safety guidelines and report any issues or hazards in the work area. Essential Skills
• Experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment. • Ability to perform shipping and receiving tasks, including handling documentation and organizing shipments. • Capability to operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely. • Understanding of basic warehouse operations, including picking, packing, and inventory handling. • Ability to support machine operations by pulling finished products and reloading materials. • Attention to detail when preparing orders and verifying shipment contents. Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Surrounding in manufacturing operations or production support. • Experience as a shipping clerk, warehouse operator, or similar role. • Comfort with basic data entry for shipping and inventory processes. • Strong organizational skills to maintain orderly work and storage areas.
