Job Opportunity: 2nd Shift Die Setter in Saint Marys, PA! Job DescriptionThis role focuses on setting up and maintaining conventional and multi-action powder metal molding presses to produce precision components for automotive, industrial, and specialty applications. The Die Setter ensures accurate press setup, consistent part quality, and smooth production flow on 2nd shift while adhering to strict safety and quality standards.Responsibilities

• Set up conventional and multi-action molding presses according to blueprints, control plans, and production requirements. • Install, adjust, and remove dies, punches, and tooling to support scheduled production runs. • Tear out tooling, fill hoppers, and make necessary press and tooling adjustments to maintain part quality. • Monitor press operation throughout production runs to ensure consistent compaction and dimensional accuracy. • Inspect dies, punches, and tooling components for wear, defects, and alignment issues, and take corrective action as needed. • Perform in-process quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify part conformity to specifications. • Handle metal powders, organize tooling, and prepare equipment to support efficient and continuous production flow. • Troubleshoot press malfunctions, alignment problems, and density inconsistencies during operation. • Conduct routine cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs on presses and tooling as part of preventive maintenance activities. • Document setup parameters, production data, and quality results to ensure traceability and support process improvement. • Follow company safety procedures, including lockout/tagout practices, to maintain a safe and compliant work environment. Essential Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Die Setter role. • Hands-on experience working with multi-action molding presses. • Strong tool and die skills, including die setting and die maintenance. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and control plans. • Proficiency using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges. • Understanding of manufacturing safety procedures, including lockout/tagout practices. Work EnvironmentThis position is based in a machine and manufacturing shop environment on 2nd shift, working Monday through Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The role involves regular interaction with powder metal presses, tooling, measuring instruments, and related equipment in a production setting. The work is hands-on and requires comfort around industrial machinery, metal powders, and standard shop conditions, with adherence to all safety procedures and guidelines.Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Saint Marys, PA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $68640.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.They have 401K, Life Insurance, Full Medical Benefits (Dental, Vision), PTO, Holidays.
