Job Title: AssemblerJob DescriptionThis role focuses on fabricating barrier filters and aerostructures for commercial and military rotorcraft, building engine inlet air filtration systems that protect engines from unscheduled maintenance or replacement. You will perform precision assembly and structural work with close tolerances, follow established procedures and policies, and maintain accurate records while consistently aiming for high first-pass yields.Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble engine inlet air filtration systems for rotorcraft, including barrier filters and aerostructures. • Build sheet metal sub-assemblies to specification for multiple aircraft platforms, including CH-53K and UH-60 models, as well as low-volume parts. • Perform close tolerance hole drilling, countersinking, fastener installation, rivet installation, trimming, and assembly operations. • Install and remove universal and flush head rivets, hi-loks, cherry-max fasteners, hi-shear fasteners, and platenuts. • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and related documents to ensure accurate and complete builds. • Use micrometers, rulers, calipers, and other measuring tools to perform in-process self-inspections and verify dimensional accuracy. • Select and use appropriate hand tools and power tools, including pneumatic squeeze tools and battery-operated drills, and progress to using a rivet gun as skills develop. • Effectively complete and document job-related paperwork, ensuring accurate records of work performed. • Work safely with and around a variety of chemicals, following all standards and procedures related to personal protective equipment (PPE). • Use required protective equipment and follow all safety policies and procedures at all times. • Maintain an acceptable level of attendance in accordance with the attendance policy. • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and quality standards in a low-volume assembly environment. Essential Skills

• High school diploma or GED. • Rivet installation experience, including working with various rivet types and fasteners. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings. • Drilling experience, including close tolerance hole drilling and countersinking. • Mechanical aptitude with a focus on heavy mechanical assembly. • Entry-level to 3 years of experience in assembly, structures, sheet metal, or related mechanical work. • Ability to use micrometers, rulers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools for self-inspection. • Capability to select and manage personal tools required for the job. • Comfort using hand tools and power tools such as pneumatic squeeze tools and battery-operated drills. • Willingness and ability to work overtime, including voluntary and some mandatory overtime, potentially exceeding 50 hours per week. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and first-pass yield. • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, procedures, and safety guidelines. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in structures, sheet metal assembly, or mechanical assembly is highly beneficial. • Recent technical school graduates are encouraged to apply. • Recent military experience or separation is viewed positively. • Previous experience working with rivet guns is a plus, though training and gradual progression will be provided. • Comfort working in a small-shop environment where individual performance is highly visible. • Ability to adapt to working with chemicals and following PPE and safety standards. Candidates must be open to working Monday through Friday, but will typically work a four-day, ten-hour schedule (either MondayThursday or TuesdayFriday), with shifts starting at either 5:00 a.m. or 6:00 a.m. There will be significant voluntary overtime and some mandatory overtime, and candidates must be comfortable with workweeks that can exceed 50 hours. You will regularly use hand tools and power tools, including pneumatic squeeze tools and battery-operated drills, and may use a rivet gun once you are familiar with the job. The environment involves working with various chemicals, and you will use appropriate personal protective equipment as required by safety standards. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chesterfield, MO. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
