Job Title: General Production WorkerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a diligent and hardworking General Production Worker to perform essential warehouse duties, including loading and unloading trucks, palletizing, staging, and moving materials. You will assist in shipping and receiving operations, ensuring proper documentation and handling of materials, while also picking, packing, and preparing materials for production and outbound shipments. Supporting inventory cycle counts and stock replenishment is key, and you will follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines, including personal protective equipment requirements. Your role will support material movement to and from production lines to maintain a continuous manufacturing flow.Responsibilities
• Perform general warehouse duties including loading/unloading trucks, palletizing, staging, and moving materials. • Assist in shipping and receiving operations, ensuring proper documentation and handling of materials. • Pick, pack, and prepare materials for production and outbound shipments. • Support inventory cycle counts and stock replenishment. • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines, including PPE requirements. • Assist with material movement to and from production lines to support continuous manufacturing flow. Essential Skills
• General labor experience in manufacturing or warehouse settings. • Reliable transportation. • Ability to work 12-hour continental shifts. • Capacity to work in hot environments. • Ability to lift 40 pounds or more. Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Material handling, assembly, general production, and forklift experience. • Forklift experience is a bonus, with potential training available. • Experience working in hot environments that are not climate controlled. • Experience with continental shifts for future opportunities. Initially, work will be conducted at the Warehouse, with potential movement to the other facility based on availability. The environment may be hot, and workers should be open to both day and night shifts. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Windsor, ON. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.60 - $18.60/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
