Job Title: Welder Job DescriptionThis role focuses on TIG welding thin-gauge stainless steel for dairy, pharmaceutical, food, and beverage applications in a modern, air-conditioned fabrication environment. You will work directly from blueprints, perform welding and light fabrication tasks as needed, and support multiple departments while maintaining a clean and organized work area.Responsibilities
• Perform TIG welding on thin-gauge stainless steel, typically around 16 gauge, for dairy, pharmaceutical, food, and beverage grade products. • Weld components for equipment such as cabinet washers, tanks, pressure systems, and tunnel washers while meeting strict quality and cleanliness standards. • Work directly from blueprints to determine weld locations, dimensions, and specifications. • Interpret welding process specifications and welding symbols to ensure accurate and consistent welds. • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments according to job requirements. • Use fabrication equipment and tools as needed, including grinding, polishing, and brake press operations when the team is short-staffed. • Grind and polish small welds using appropriate hand and power tools to achieve required finish and appearance. • Support multiple departments and adapt to varying tasks and priorities across the shop. • Clean and maintain the work area, tools, and equipment to uphold safety, organization, and quality standards. • Follow core values and safety practices, focusing on doing what is right, putting customers first, continuous improvement, safety, and consistent quality. The schedule is 1st shift with a flexible start time from 4am- 6am. Overtime is frequently available, typically on Fridays for an additional 510 hours. The environment centers on TIG welding of stainless steel with access to fabrication equipment such as grinders, polishers, and presses. Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Lodi, WI. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $90000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
