Job Title: Welder Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled TIG Welder for our 2nd shift who is comfortable working in multiple departments as needed. The position involves TIG welding on stainless steel, typically around 16 gauge, and includes working with dairy and pharmaceutical grade steel. You will use fabrication equipment, interpret blueprints, and grind and polish small welds using hand and power tools. Maintaining a clean work area is essential.Responsibilities
• Perform TIG welding on thin gauge stainless steel. • Work directly from blueprints to fabricate and weld components. • Grind and polish welds as needed, using hand and power tools. • Engage in fabrication tasks such as grinding, polishing, and operating brake press when short-staffed. • Weld on food and beverage products, including cabinet washers, tanks, pressure systems, and tunnel washers. Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Sun Prairie, WI. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $90000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
