About this role

Job Title: Mechanical AssemblerJob DescriptionAs a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for conducting a variety of electrical-mechanical assembly work. This includes assembling panel/driver boxes, bezels, consoles, small structures, and performing minor testing on electronic systems to ensure the products meet company and manufacturer specifications. Responsibilities • Conduct electrical-mechanical assembly work on various components such as panel/driver boxes, bezels, and consoles. • Perform minor testing on electronic systems to ensure functionality according to specifications. • Manufacture electro-mechanical products by following specified work orders, engineering drawings, schematics, ATPs, manufacturing assembly instructions, and standard operating procedures. • Inspect your own work as well as the work of others to ensure quality standards are met. • Operate a variety of hand tools and light manufacturing equipment. • Document work processes and outcomes accurately. Essential Skills • Proficient in assembly and mechanical assembly work. • Experience using hand tools and power tools. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings. • Minimum of 2 years of assembly and mechanical experience. • Strong attention to detail. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience in manufacturing military-grade equipment is a plus. • Familiarity with control panels for helicopters and planes, such as Blackhawk, Apache, and Boeing, is advantageous. Work EnvironmentThis position operates on the 1st shift, Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 4:30 pm, in a clean and climate-controlled environment. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbia, TN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
