Industrial Painter on 1st Shift starting at $20/hour! Job DescriptionThis role focuses on preparing and finishing metal and manufactured components using industrial painting techniques to support customers across automotive, medical, industrial, and consumer product industries. You will perform paint preparation, spraying, and finishing operations while ensuring high-quality results that meet detailed specifications and production requirements.Responsibilities

• Prepare metal and manufactured components for painting by cleaning, masking, sanding, and performing all necessary surface preparation activities. • Apply paint, primers, coatings, and finishes using spray guns and other industrial painting equipment in accordance with specifications and quality standards. • Mix paints and coatings to the correct color, consistency, and finish quality, following detailed instructions and product specifications. • Inspect painted products for defects, coverage, thickness, and overall appearance before releasing them to the next operation. • Operate and maintain paint booth equipment, curing ovens, and related finishing equipment to ensure safe and efficient performance. • Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, specifications, and production schedules to ensure customer and production requirements are met. • Monitor inventory levels of paint, coatings, solvents, and other finishing supplies and promptly notify management of replenishment needs. • Maintain accurate production and quality records related to painting and finishing operations. • Follow all safety procedures, environmental regulations, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements at all times. • Assist with general production tasks, housekeeping, and continuous improvement activities as assigned. • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM • OT available Essential Skills

• Previous experience in industrial painting, powder coating, automotive painting, or manufacturing environments is preferred. • Ability to use spray painting equipment, including spray guns and related finishing tools, safely and effectively. • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality, consistent finishes. • Ability to read work instructions and follow written and verbal directions accurately. • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, and move throughout the workday. • Experience with paint preparation, including cleaning, masking, sanding, and surface preparation. • Ability to inspect finished work for defects, coverage, thickness, and overall appearance. Work EnvironmentThe role is based on a clean, climate-controlled production floor with dedicated paint booth and finishing equipment. The environment involves working around strong paint odors, using industrial painting and coating equipment, and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment to ensure safety and comfort.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Du Bois, PA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
