Job Summary We are seeking experienced Commercial Plumbers to join our growing construction team. This position focuses on new commercial construction projects, including schools, hospitals, office buildings, warehouses, retail centers, and industrial facilities. Plumbers will be responsible for installing, assembling, and testing plumbing systems according to project specifications, blueprints, and local codes. Responsibilities
• Install sanitary waste, vent, storm drain, water supply, and natural gas piping systems. • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and isometric drawings. • Lay out plumbing systems according to project plans and field measurements. • Install underground and rough-in plumbing for commercial construction projects. • Cut, fit, thread, solder, braze, and assemble various types of piping materials. • Install fixtures, valves, water heaters, pumps, and plumbing equipment. • Perform pressure tests and inspections on completed systems. • Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and other trades to maintain project schedules. • Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and safety regulations. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment on active construction sites. Qualifications
• 3+ years of commercial plumbing experience preferred. • Experience with new construction projects required. • Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and specifications. • Knowledge of PVC, CPVC, cast iron, copper, PEX, and steel piping systems. • Experience installing underground, rough-in, and finish plumbing. • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Reliable transportation and ability to report to job sites daily. • Plumbing license is a plus but not required depending on local requirements. Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. • Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in confined spaces. • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. • Capable of working at heights using ladders, lifts, and scaffolding. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Gardner, KS. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
