About this role
Electrician (Apprentice & Journeyperson) Amazon Warehouse Construction Project We are currently hiring 3rd & 4th Year Apprentices and Journeyperson Electricians to join a growing non-union team on a large-scale Amazon warehouse construction project. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile industrial/commercial build with consistent hours, overtime opportunities, and the potential to move onto future projects upon completion.This project is scheduled to run through November, with increased manpower and overtime expected as the project progresses. Key Responsibilities
• Install and support conveyor system electrical infrastructure. • Perform communications and low-voltage work, including patch cord installations. • Install conduit and complete wire pulls for power distribution systems. • Mount and connect photo eyes, push buttons, power supplies, and other control devices. • Assist with the installation and commissioning of motors and variable frequency drives (VFDs). • Read and interpret electrical drawings and layouts. • Maintain a strong commitment to job site safety and company safety standards. • Work safely at heights and in active construction environments. Qualifications Required
• Minimum 2 years of commercial or industrial electrical experience. • 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice or Red Seal Journeyperson certification. • Experience in one or more of the following: • Industrial controls and automation • Conduit installation and pipe bending • Large cable pulls and power distribution systems
• Ability to bend conduit using a hand bender. • Strong understanding of safe work practices and construction site procedures. Certifications The following certifications are required:
• Fall Protection • WHMIS (completed within the last 12 months) • Aerial Work Platform (AWP) • Lockout/Tagout Additional requirements:
• Ability to pass a criminal record check. • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. • Strong communication and teamwork skills. What We Offer

• Monday to Friday • 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM • 30-minute unpaid lunch • 9.5 paid hours per day • Overtime available during the week and occasional Saturdays Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pitt Meadows, BC. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
