Job Title: Compounder 1st or 2nd - $23 to $25 an hourJob DescriptionThe Compounder monitors, troubleshoots, and adjusts automated production line equipment to ensure accurate, efficient, and safe filling of products into tubes and cartons. This role focuses on precise mixing and batching, careful machine setup and changeovers, and consistent quality inspection while working with chemical compounds in a clean, climate-controlled environment.Responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and adjust all 3- and 4-stem and Norden production line equipment to maintain smooth and efficient operation. • Manipulate manual fill adjustments and case packer settings to ensure proper dispensation of product into the correct tubes and cartons. • Replace and change tape rolls and adjust machine speeds for filling operations as needed. • Set video jet equipment and verify that date codes are correct and properly placed on boxes and tubes. • Maintain all fluid levels on equipment and perform routine cleaning to support safe and reliable operation. • Complete accurate and timely record keeping related to production activities, equipment settings, and line performance. • Perform setup and changeovers for all 2-, 3-, and 4-stem and squeeze tube lines, including positioning tanks under ram presses using a sit-down forklift. • Execute changeovers such as switching fill cylinders, fill valves, case packers, latex to solvent fillers, and 12- to 24-case packer configurations. • Disassemble and assemble machines as required, including installing fill cylinders and fill valves after maintenance cleaning. • Conduct quality inspections of filled products and packaging to verify adherence to specifications and standards. • Identify issues on machine lines and perform troubleshooting to make adjustments and minor repairs. • Lift and move materials and components, including loads up to 75 pounds, in support of production and changeover activities. • Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment while working around chemicals and machinery. Essential Skills

• Experience with chemical mixing, compounding, and batch making in a production or manufacturing environment. • Strong attention to detail with a background in mixing, batching, and following precise recipes. • Hands-on experience with machine setup and adjustments on production lines. • Ability to troubleshoot machine lines and perform adjustments and minor repairs to resolve issues. • Proficiency in sit-down forklift operation, including safely moving tanks and materials for line setup. • Capability to lift 75 pounds or more as part of routine production and changeover tasks. • Skill in quality inspection to ensure products and packaging meet required standards. • Comfort working with automated filling, case packing, and date coding equipment. • Ability to adjust machines, including fill speeds and settings, to optimize production performance. • Strong awareness of safety practices when working around chemicals and moving machinery. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working with 2-, 3-, and 4-stem production lines and squeeze tube filling equipment. • Familiarity with Norden production line equipment and video jet date coding systems. • Ability to disassemble and reassemble production machinery, including installing fill cylinders and fill valves after cleaning. • background in latex and solvent filler systems and case packer changeovers, including 12- to 24-case configurations. • Comfort working in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment that involves both sitting and standing throughout the shift. • Commitment to following safety protocols and using personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, gloves, and aprons. Overtime is paid daily after 8 hours worked in a day, supporting extended shift work. The position involves both sitting and standing throughout the shift, working around chemicals, and operating production machinery and sit-down forklifts. Team members wear safety glasses, safety shoes, gloves, and aprons as part of the required dress code and personal protective equipment. Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Tipp City, OH. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $47216.00 - $51376.00/yr.
