Shipping & Receiving Specialist Location: Thornton, ColoradoPay: $23-$26/hr DOESchedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PMType: Contract-to-Hire Job Summary We are seeking a Shipping & Receiving Specialist to support shipping, receiving, inventory, and logistics operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for domestic and international shipments, inventory management, material handling, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards. Responsibilities
• Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments and materials. • Process domestic and international shipments using FedEx and UPS. • Prepare shipping, customs, and export documentation. • Maintain inventory records and organize warehouse materials. • Coordinate deliveries and support operations teams. • Operate forklifts and material handling equipment. • Handle hazardous and non-hazardous materials according to safety procedures. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. • Follow OSHA, ISO, and company quality standards. Requirements
• 2+ years of shipping, receiving, warehouse, inventory, or logistics experience. • Experience with domestic and international shipping. • Experience using FedEx Ship Manager and shipping documentation. • Knowledge of customs and export requirements. • Forklift operating experience. • Experience handling hazardous materials and SDS documentation preferred. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • High School Diploma or GED. Work Environment
• Manufacturing and warehouse environment. • Regular lifting of up to 30 pounds. • Frequent bending, twisting, and material handling. • Safety-focused workplace requiring adherence to established procedures. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Thornton, CO. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
