Job Title: Garage Door InstallerJob DescriptionThe Garage Door Installer performs installation, service, and repair work on a wide range of sectional and coiling garage door products. This role works Monday through Friday, starting between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM and ending between 2:30 PM and 5:00 PM depending on the job schedule. The position begins as a six-month contract-to-hire opportunity and involves both installation and minor construction-related tasks, along with regular documentation, troubleshooting, and adherence to safety procedures.Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair a wide range of sectional and coiling garage door products in residential and commercial settings. • Document any issues, alterations, and modifications required at the job site and communicate clearly with the lead installer, supervisor, and job site supervisor to determine appropriate next steps. • Perform minor framing and construction modifications as directed and approved by the supervisor and job site supervisor to support proper installation. • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with garage door systems and complete punch list items to ensure jobs are fully and accurately completed. • Assist in unloading trucks and handling materials and equipment when requested or assigned. • Conduct job site checks as needed or directed by the supervisor to confirm readiness, safety, and compliance with project requirements. • Follow all safety policies and procedures and consistently use appropriate personal protective equipment when necessary. • Attend required safety training meetings and participate in continuing education opportunities to maintain and improve technical and safety knowledge. • Ensure the assigned truck is fueled, serviced, and ready for operation at the beginning of each workday, and promptly report any service or maintenance issues to the supervisor. • Maintain an appropriate inventory of parts and materials on the vehicle to support efficient installation and service work. • Provide courteous and professional customer service when interacting with clients, contractors, and the general public at job sites. • Assist with special projects and perform additional duties as assigned to support team and company objectives. Essential Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent. • One to two years of installation and service experience with sectional and coiling or roll-up garage doors. • Valid drivers license with a driving record that meets eligibility requirements for coverage under a company insurance plan. • Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug testing as required. • Mechanical aptitude with strong skills in using a variety of hand and power tools. • Basic knowledge of electrical wiring relevant to garage door systems. • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, supervisors, and the general public. • Strong attention to detail and willingness to be coached and follow direction. • Professional demeanor, reliability, and consistent punctuality. • Ability to work safely from ladders and scissor lifts at varying heights. • Ability to lift and carry up to 65 pounds on a regular basis. • Capability to perform manual labor in outdoor environments, including exposure to heat, sun, rain, and other adverse weather conditions. • Willingness to work out of town on an infrequent basis when required. • Experience in construction, carpentry, or related trades supporting garage door installation and framing modifications. • Hands-on experience with electrical work associated with door operators and related components. • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as ladders and scissor lifts. • Experience in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues in installation and repair settings. • Customer service experience, including communicating clearly and professionally with clients and site personnel. • Ability to perform installation, repair, and maintenance tasks efficiently while meeting quality standards. • Experience working in outdoor construction environments and adapting to changing site conditions. • Comfort working on special projects or additional assignments as business needs evolve. You operate from a service truck that you help maintain in ready-to-use condition and work closely with supervisors, installers, and site personnel in a safety-focused, team-oriented environment. Dress typically aligns with construction and field work standards, including appropriate workwear and personal protective equipment as required by safety policies. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pasco, WA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $39.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
