Job Title: CNC Operator Job DescriptionJoin a dynamic full-service CNC machine shop with decades of experience crafting metal parts for diverse industries including agriculture, construction, trucking, forestry, and mining. As a CNC Operator, you will work primarily on Mazak machines to produce various parts with precision and efficiency.Responsibilities
• Operate CNC machines and machining centers to produce parts with minimal scrap and record indirect labor hours. • Review drawings, instructions, and blueprints to ensure accurate production. • Plan the sequence of tasks to complete assignments efficiently. • Inspect parts using gauges and other tools to meet quality assurance standards. • Document labor and quality checks while reporting errors and defects. • Identify maintenance needs and perform minor repairs on machines and tools. • Learn and perform machine setups efficiently using provided documentation. • Maintain a safe and clean work environment. The shop is busy with orders through 2025 and offers a well-lit environment, though it's on the dirtier side. 2nd shift 2:00pm to 10:00pm with a 10% premium. 3rd shift is 10:00pm to 6:00am with a 20% premium. Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Ixonia, WI. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
