Start-up Engineer (m/f/d) for Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Systems Based in Romania, you will join Siemens Healthineers' international MRI Factory Installation Team, responsible for the installation, commissioning, and start-up of MRI systems across Europe. Working closely with factory experts, project managers, service teams, and customers, you will lead MRI installation and commissioning activities at customer sites throughout Romania and, occasionally, across Europe. This is a field-based role offering a high degree of autonomy, international collaboration, and extensive travel in support of cutting-edge medical imaging technology.
• Perform hardware inspections, software testing, quality assurance, and safety checks. • Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate corrective actions during commissioning. • Create and maintain installation, validation, and acceptance documentation. • Collaborate closely with customers, project managers, service teams, and factory experts. • Support successful system handover and contribute to continuous improvement through field feedback.
Work Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Engineering or a related technical field. • Alternatively, completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician, Mechatronics Technician or equivalent technical qualification, combined with relevant professional experience. • Experience with installation, commissioning, maintenance, or service of technical systems. • Knowledge of MRI system hardware and software, including interfaces to healthcare IT systems is an advantage • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. • Customer-focused mindset and strong communication skills. • Organized, independent, and able to manage multiple priorities. • Willingness to travel extensively across Romania and occasionally within Europe. • Fluent Romanian and English. • Class B driving license.
