Strategic Buying Professional Your responsibilities will include preparing and concluding sourcing contracts based on customer requirements at the most beneficial conditions whilst ensuring quality and on-time delivery.
• Implementing commodity strategies to ensure long-term, cost-efficient supply of indirect materials. • Contributing to implementation and ensure usage of globally defined methods, processes and systems to ensure high process efficiency and process compliance (e.g. compliant Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process, Procurement guidelines, IT systems). • Preparing and conducting negotiations to obtain highest feasible savings • Executing Supplier Management processes (e.g. qualification, selection, evaluation, development, classification). • Ensuring a close cooperation with Internal Customers (requisitioners) to ensure customer care and early involvement.
Work Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. • Proven experience in strategic indirect procurement, supplier management, and contract negotiations. • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. • Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP (or a similar ERP system). • Excellent supplier communication, follow-up, and relationship management capabilities. • Fluent English skills, both written and spoken. • Proficiency in leveraging AI tools for analysis, reporting, research, and process improvement. • Military service completed (for male candidates, where applicable).
