As a Data Engineer - Senior Associate you will help design and build data pipelines, data integration, and data transformation solutions that turn raw data into usable insights for clients within our Data and Analytics Engineering practice. As a Senior Associate you will analyze complex issues, manage assigned workstreams, build meaningful client connections, and guide junior team members while deepening your technical skills and business context. In this role at PwC, you will contribute to data infrastructure and systems that support efficient data processing and analysis, using critical thinking, a range of methods, and a client-focused approach to deliver work across changing priorities and levels of ambiguity.

Responsibilities

- Designing and building data pipelines, integration flows, and transformation logic for client solutions - Developing data infrastructure and data models that support analytics, reporting, and operational use cases - Applying Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Snowflake to orchestrate and manage data processing workflows - Analyzing complex data engineering problems and translating business needs into scalable technical approaches - Validating data quality, lineage, and transformation logic across source and target systems - Optimizing database performance, query execution, and warehouse structures to support reliable data access - Collaborating with client teams to interpret requirements, communicate progress, and adapt delivery plans as priorities change - Guiding junior team members through technical tasks, review cycles, and issue resolution - Supporting data architecture decisions by evaluating patterns, tooling, and integration options - Upholding professional and technical standards while delivering work across assigned client engagement workstreams

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree - At least 3 years of experience - Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Analytics/Data Science, Business Administration/Management, Computer Science/Information Systems, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics/Statistics, Operations/Supply Chain - Demonstrating data engineering coursework, internship, or project experience - Utilizing Apache Airflow, Databricks, or Snowflake in data pipelines - Interpreting data patterns to guide recommendations and delivery decisions - Collaborating across teams while navigating ambiguity and changing priorities - Mentoring junior team members and reviewing assigned technical tasks
