About this role

Medical Assistant - Pediatric Clinic Join a pediatric clinic where you'll help care for children and support families during their visits. You'll assist providers with both clinical and administrative tasks to keep the clinic running smoothly. Pediatric experience is required.Responsibilities

• Take and record patient vital signs. • Make follow-up calls to parents and guardians. • Communicate care instructions and clinic information to families. • Prepare exam rooms and assist providers during visits. • Clean and reset exam rooms between patients. • Perform point-of-care testing. • Draw blood from pediatric patients. • Complete medication prior authorizations. • Support daily clinic operations and patient care. Requirements

• Previous pediatric medical assistant experience. • Active CMA or RMA certification. • Experience taking vital signs and documenting patient information. • Pediatric phlebotomy experience. • Experience with point-of-care testing. • Strong communication and customer service skills. • High school diploma or GED. Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a pediatric clinic. • Strong organizational and documentation skills. • Comfortable in a fast-paced outpatient setting. • Passion for providing compassionate care to children and families. Schedule & Environment

• Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM • 30-minute lunch break • Team-oriented pediatric clinic environment Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Knoxville, TN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
