About this role

Seasonal Vehicle Shifters Looking for an opportunity where you can put your driving skills to work in a fast-paced environment? As a seasonal vehicle shifter, you'll help keep operations moving by repositioning and backing trailers throughout the UPS property for loading, unloading, and staging. This seasonal role combines driving with hands-on work in an active environment. You'll play an important role in supporting the efficient flow of packages while maneuvering trailers safely around the facility and backing them into designated dock doors. Please Note: This is a seasonal position; schedules may vary from day to day. What you’ll need:

• Ability to lift, lower, and carry packages weighing up to 70 lbs. • Ability to operate a powered industrial truck (PIT) or tractor trailer • Ability to safely maneuver and back trailers into designated locations • Valid driver's license (CDL not required; license requirements vary by state) • Pass a UPS driver test • Sturdy work boots or slip-resistant shoes • Authorized to work in the U.S. Additional Benefits:
