Resurfacing Technician - Tub, Tile & Surface Refinishing - Bear, DE
Job Description: As a Resurfacing Technician, you will perform residential and light commercial refinishing work throughout Delaware. This role includes surface preparation, coating application, and finishing work to restore worn surfaces to a like-new appearance. This is a stable, full-time position offering fixed base pay, plus job-completion–based incentives tied to quality and performance. This is not commission-only or seasonal work. Paid training is provided, and prior refinishing experience is helpful but not required. Key Responsibilities
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking, and repairing minor imperfections • Apply coatings and finishes to bathtubs, tiles, countertops, and other surfaces using specialized tools and techniques • Follow safety, ventilation, and material-handling procedures at all times • Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards and customer satisfaction • Communicate professionally with customers regarding job scope and expectations • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition • Follow company processes, job checklists, and safety guidelines
Preferred Experience: Preferred Experience (Not Required):
• Auto body refinishing, spray painting, construction painting, or coatings experience • Background in construction, remodeling, or skilled trades • Experience in structured, process-driven work environments
