About this role
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and maintain facilities equipment such as - boilers, air compressors, water treatment systems, and other facilities equipment.
• Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
• Monitor, record, and analyze equipment data; respond to alarms or unusual operating conditions.
• Troubleshoot and repair facilities equipment, including pumps, motors, valves, and control systems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and parts inventory.
• Assist in energy management and conservation efforts by optimizing equipment performance.
• Respond to emergency calls for facilities equipment failures or system malfunctions.
• Collaborate with facility engineers, contractors, and management on upgrades, renovations, and capital projects.
• Ensure all work complies with safety policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED (required); knowledge of HVAC, mechanical, electrical, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial building maintenance.
• Knowledge of boiler and HVAC system operation and maintenance.
• Familiarity with digital controls, building automation systems, and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer proficiency and communication skills.
