We are currently recruiting for Bank Kitchen Assistant with previous experience working in a catering/kitchen/hospitality environment who can cover flexible ad hoc shifts as and when required to cover for annual leave, sickness, training, etc. at Cygnet Hospital Ealing.

Our current need is for bank staff to cover morning shifts (07:30am to 15:30pm) across a 7 day rota (Monday - Sunday)

You will assist the Chef in ensuring that all catering areas are maintained in a hygienic, clean, tidy and safe manner, as per the operational standards, and assist in all relevant aspects of the catering operation as required.

In this role you’ll:

Prepare, cook and serve food in a safe mannerPromote and ensure the good reputation of the Hospital by maintaining and demonstrating a positive attitude toward clients, their families, staff, visitors and othersWash up after meals as well as being responsible for the overall cleaning of the kitchen and where appropriate the dining areaTake pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanline ssEnsure statutory Health and Safety standards in the kitchen and dining areas

We're looking for people who have:

Previous catering experienceKnowledge of HACCP and Food Safety TrainingExperience of working in a care or Hospital environmentBe a good communicator and able to liaise with people at all levelsHave good personal hygiene standardsHold a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
