About this role
We are seeking an experienced Chef to join our team in Monkton. As Chef, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals to company standards whilst maintaining the highest levels of food hygiene and kitchen organisation.
Actual contracted hours per week: 25
Working Days and Shift Pattern : Mon-Fri 13:00-18:00
Standard benefits plus parking onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare fresh ingredients and food to company standards, ensuring consistency and quality across all dishesAssist with daily food preparation, including mise en place, cooking, and platingManage stock rotation and maintain accurate inventory records to minimise wasteMaintain a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen environment in compliance with food safety regulationsOversee kitchen operations and contribute to a positive, efficient working atmosphereEnsure all food preparation meets health and safety standards at all times Previous kitchen or food preparation experienceA positive attitude and strong work ethic.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Good attention to detail and food hygiene knowledge.
