Aramark UK are currently recruiting for an Area Chef to join our team in Headington, Oxford.

What you'll be doing
Supporting multiple catering operations across the regionDelivering high-quality food and ensuring consistency of standards across all locationsProviding cover for Chef Managers and Head Chefs during periods of absenceSupporting kitchen teams with menu planning, food preparation, and service deliveryCoaching and developing culinary teams to achieve operational excellenceMonitoring food quality, presentation, and customer satisfactionAssisting with stock control, ordering, and food cost managementEnsuring compliance with food safety, health & safety, and company proceduresSupporting the mobilisation of new contracts and business initiatives where requiredDriving innovation and sharing best practices across sites Previous experience as a Head Chef, Chef Manager, Sous Chef, or similar senior culinary roleA strong passion for food and hospitalityExcellent culinary skills and knowledge of current food trendsThe ability to build strong working relationships with a variety of teamsStrong organisational and time management skillsExperience managing food costs and maintaining budgetary controlsA flexible approach and willingness to travel between sitesSound knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety regulationsRelevant catering or chef qualifications are desirable At Aramark UK, we are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone is valued and empowered to thrive.
