We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused General Service Assistant (GSA) to join our team at RAF Boulmer. This varied role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering excellent service and maintaining high standards.
As a General Service Assistant, you will support the day-to-day operation of catering, hospitality, and facilities services, helping to ensure a positive experience for all personnel and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with food service in dining facilities, messes, and hospitality areasPrepare and set up dining areas for meal servicesServe food and beverages in a professional and friendly mannerMaintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout dining and kitchen areasWash up and operate dishwashing equipment safely and efficientlyAssist with basic food preparation as requiredReplenish food, drinks, crockery, cutlery, and consumables during service periodsSupport hospitality and special events as requiredFollow food safety, health and safety, and hygiene procedures at all timesReport maintenance, cleanliness, or safety concerns to the appropriate supervisorWork collaboratively with catering and support teams to ensure smooth daily operations A positive and professional attitudeExcellent customer service skillsThe ability to work effectively as part of a teamGood communication skillsStrong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standardsThe ability to work efficiently in a busy environmentA flexible and reliable approach to workPrevious experience in catering, hospitality, retail, cleaning, or customer service environmentsKnowledge of food hygiene and safety proceduresExperience working within a contract catering or facilities management environment At Aramark UK, we are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone is valued and empowered to thrive.
