We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Waiter to join our hospitality team in Dublin, Ireland. In this role, you will deliver exceptional dining service to our guests, ensuring a memorable experience through attentive service, genuine hospitality, and meticulous attention to detail. You will be responsible for providing high-quality food and beverage service while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, efficiency, and warmth in every guest interaction.
Greet guests warmly and provide courteous, attentive service throughout their dining experienceTake accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them clearly to kitchen and bar staffServe food and beverages according to established service standards and company protocolsMaintain comprehensive knowledge of menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, and daily specials to answer guest inquiries and make personalized recommendationsEnsure tables are properly set, cleared, and maintained throughout service with meticulous attention to detailMonitor guest satisfaction proactively and respond promptly to any concerns, special requests, or dietary requirements with empathy and professionalismProcess payments and handle transactions accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systemsMaintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, service stations, and equipment to the highest standardsComply with all health, safety, and food handling regulationsWork collaboratively with kitchen, bar, and housekeeping staff to ensure seamless and efficient service deliveryAdapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tables efficiently during peak service periodsDemonstrate upselling techniques and suggest beverage pairings to enhance the guest experienceHandle guest complaints and challenging situations with professionalism, patience, and a solution-oriented approach Proven experience as a waiter, waitress, or in a similar food service roleStrong customer service skills with the ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure environmentsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for hospitalitySolid understanding of food and beverage service standards, dining etiquette, and table managementProficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and payment processingAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysStrong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasksExceptional attention to detail and unwavering commitment to maintaining high service standardsPhysical ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays and service items safelyKnowledge of health and safety regulations in food service environmentsDemonstrated teamwork and collaboration abilities with a supportive attitude toward colleaguesProblem-solving skills and ability to handle guest requests with empathy and professionalismProfessional grooming and presentation standardsPreferred: Experience in fine dining, upscale restaurants, or premium hospitality establishmentsPreferred: Knowledge of wines, spirits, craft beverages, and food and beverage pairingsPreferred: Multilingual abilities to serve diverse guest populations in Dublin and beyond About Aramark
